Sweetheart, I provide you with some images of Greece which relate to your science school-topics and vocabulary.

Hills such as the Acropolis of Athens (1), Epidauros (2), and on Siros isl. (3).

Mountains,  such as Mt.Olympus (4) and the Pindos mountain-range (5-8). Between the ridges you may see a plateau, and along the coastline you may detect a promontory (7) and a river delta (8).

The Aheron river (9) meanders through the passages afforded by narrow valleys and gorges (10); while the plateau may contain a lake (11), a marsh (12), and several villages such as Papigko (13), nested on the other (i.e., the interior) side of the plateau, formed by the above-mentioned Pindos mountain-range.

And, of course, sweetheart, some of the most amazing scenery and breathtaking shapes one encounters are due to age-long water and wind erosion (14-18), seismic/sliding activity, the collapse of layers, formation of deposits (19-21), and volcanoes (22).

Coastlines are my favourites: The variety of them; the fun of encountering a new one; and the joy of visiting in order to  swim... Gulfs and fjords (23-29), islets in the distance (30-31), peninsulas (32-33) and promontories (34-35), small ports (36-37), beaches (38-43), estuaries (44-46), and straights (47).
